Sonography / Ultrasound

1 Is Sonography safe?
Yes. Ultrasound is a completely safe, painless, and radiation-free imaging method. It is even routinely used during pregnancy.
2 How should I prepare for an Ultrasound?
Preparation depends on the type of ultrasound:

Abdominal ultrasound: You may be asked to drink water to keep your bladder full.

Our staff will guide you with exact instructions before the test.
3 How long does an ultrasound take?
Most ultrasounds take 10-15 minutes, depending on the area being examined.
4 When will I get my ultrasound report?
Reports are usually ready within the same day or immediately after the scan.

2D Echo / Echocardiography

5 Is a 2D Echo painful or risky?
No, it is a safe and painless test. There is no radiation involved.
6 How do I prepare for a 2D Echo?
No special preparation is required. You can eat and drink normally unless your doctor advises otherwise.
7 How long does a 2D Echo test take?
It usually takes 20–30 minutes to complete.
8 When will I receive my Echo report?
Reports are generally provided after the scan.

X-Ray

9 Is X-Ray safe?
Yes. The radiation used in modern digital X-Ray machines is very minimal and safe for adults. However, pregnant women should inform the technician before the test.
10 Do I need to prepare for an X-Ray?
No special preparation is required. You may need to remove jewelry or metal objects during the test.
11 How long does an X-Ray take?
The process usually takes 5–10 minutes, and reports are available the same day.

ECG (Electrocardiogram)

12 Is ECG painful?
No. ECG is completely painless and quick. Small electrodes are attached to your chest, arms, and legs to record signals.
13 How long does an ECG take?
An ECG test usually takes 5–10 minutes to perform.
14 When will I get my ECG report?
Reports are provided instantly or within a few hours.

CT Scan

15 Is a CT Scan safe?
Yes, CT scans are generally safe. However, since they use low doses of radiation, it's important to inform your doctor if you are pregnant or allergic to contrast dye.
16 Do I need to fast before a CT Scan?
For contrast CT scans, fasting for 4–6 hours may be required. Our technician will inform you beforehand.
17 How long does a CT Scan take?
A CT scan usually takes 10–20 minutes, depending on the body part being scanned.
18 When will I receive my CT Scan report?
Reports are usually available within 2-3 hours, or on the same day depending on the test type.

Blood Test / Pathology

19 Do I need to fast before a blood test?
For some tests like Sugar, Lipid Profile, or Full Body Checkups, you should fast for 8–12 hours. Water is allowed during fasting.
20 How long does it take to get blood test reports?
Most blood test reports are ready within 12–24 hours. Some specialized tests may take longer.
21 Do you provide home blood collection?
Yes. We offer free or low-cost home blood sample collection in nearby areas. You can book it online or by calling our helpline.
